Poems
Redeemer
I come to you with all my stains
I crept from hole and stood on ground
I leapt to place my feet on rock
I fell from hill on which I stood
The link with seas was cast ashore
I tripped, but rose to trip again
And then my eyes were red from tears
My feet were sore from trips and falls
I wept in tears, and all alone
Till when in faith, I found the lane
And though my face was drenched in tears
And though my dress was soiled in stains
I found my way and ran the miles
I came to you with all my stains
You stretched your hand and gave a smile
I found my rest within your chest.
